why:  WELL THEY ARE REALLY COOL I cant wait to see lin in action and she’s such a grade A milf and Iroh is just really a million of my favourite character tropes together. a philosophical and sweet old guy who can be a hardass when he needs to be and drinks tea and is just over all the best fucking character in the last airbender show PERIOD I cant even DEAL what a perfect character he is oh my gooooood he was pretty much the only one in the show besides Pakku and Bumi who made me go all “oh my god look at this action scene LOOK AT THIS

Ok OK so one of the reasons why I love the fuck out of Avatar is that THE OLD PEOPLE ARE RIGHTEOUS BADASSES LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE. Childprodigies are the most annoyings shits I know in the world and this show brings the truth to the table which is the fact that HAVING LIVED A LONG LIFE AND LEARNED A LOT OF STUFF ABOUT IT AND TRAINED THE SHIT OUT OF YOURSELF PAYS OFF NOT JUST BY BEING ~TALENTEDS~ AND TWELVE (im also looking at you, characters who are doctors and ninjas and assassins at the age of twenty, which is the worst age to be able to do any shit ever) and the maincharacters being humble and having to train throughout the show to be able to be the badasses they need to be is really good stuff.

And besides Iroh, I love Bumi and Pakku *3* honestly though every old person in this show is fricken awesome and I APPRECIATE THAT

Rewatching Avatar before Legend of Korra starts airing with Sulo. Feels good man. 
(Only now did I realize that Sulo is basically the same person as Sokka woah)
