This is an excellent question and I wish I could help more specifically, but if you don’t mind torrenting, there are subs around with any language you ever wished for, and finnish ones are as common as any other subs. So you could just pick any movie that has audio in a language you already know and then pop in the finnish subtitles! This should be easy enough with VLC Media Player.
The legal way, if you purchase DVD’s from any North-European country, they should have options for finnish in the subtitles, and an audio-option for english, if it’s not originally from Europe or something.
I’m not movie-savvy enough to recommend any decent finnish media because I don’t.. think there really is a lot.. all I can think of is swedish stuff loll I did watch a comedy/drama movie called Havukka-ahon Ajattelija just recently which I enjoyed, you could look that one up if you want. I guess Rölli ja Metsänhenki as well, it’s a really cute fantasy-movie.
